How to Build and Paint a Vintage Pinhead Model from Hellraiser

Welcome to another exciting build! In this video, we’re diving into the world of model making as we put together a classic 1993 Screamin’ vinyl kit of Pinhead, the Hell Priest from Clive Barker’s Hellraiser series. This kit is a nostalgic gem, originally sculpted and released during the heyday of late 80s and early 90s horror. I picked up this kit at Jersey Fest, a convention packed with incredible model kits, and couldn’t resist bringing this iconic figure back to life.

Follow along as I take you through the assembly and painting process, from piecing together missing parts and customizing the iconic pins and hooks, to creating and 3D printing replacement tools. You’ll get an inside look at how I problem-solved missing instructions, improvised with Fusion 360, and brought Pinhead’s sinister details to life with paints and washes.

Shopping List

Here are some of the things I used during my build. You can get a lot of the items (especially the paints) at smaller hobby shops like one of my favorites, scalehobbyist.com/. However if you want to support my channel, I do get a commission when purchasing through Amazon. Whichever way you go, thank you!
