I’ve been eyeing this kit for a few years now and I finally took the plunge.
The DeAgostini Studio Scale Millennium Falcon is a 1 to 1 replica of the studio model used in filming Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and is one of the largest, fully licensed commercial model kits on the market today.
It’s set up as a subscription model where you get parts of the falcon over the course of 12 or 25 months. As I’m one of those people who doesn’t really understand what patience means, I went for the 12 month plan where I get two boxes chock full of model parts and content.
Each box I get comes with four magazines that not only offer up the instructions for the pieces you got that much, but also tips and tricks on how to finish the model, as well as great behind the scenes content from the movies.

This is episode 1 of a 24 part series, so make sure you SUBSCRIBE to the YouTube channel so you can follow along with me as I put this together!
